RAGA: The Delhi police raided Rahul Gandhi’s house for the trivial reason of claiming that women complained to him of molestation while he was on his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The BJP seems determined to destroy all opposition political leaders before the Parliamentary polls. Even Rahul Gandhi was raided for his statement that there were acts of molestation in the country where no justice is done and several people told him this during his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Manish Sisodia continues to be in jail for over a month while Gautam Adani remains scot free…

NO opposition politician is safe from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. With the 2024 election very close, Modi wants to ensure that any potential rivals are eliminated. The latest victim of Narendra Modi is Rahul Gandhi. On Sunday, March 19, 2023 the Delhi police headed by a special commission raided the house of Rahul Gandhi. The provocation was not the comments that Rahul made against the BJP government in the UK. The provocation was not the charges against Narendra Modi that Rahul made at his talk at Cambridge. The charge was a comment that Rahul Gandhi made that women were molested during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The police apparently wanted him to reveal the names of the women who claimed they were molested. At least so far they have not filed an FIR against Rahul or subjected him to interrogation by the enforcement directorate or the Income-Tax Department.
The Modi government has raided Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, in Andhra Pradesh. K Kavitha, a Telangana MLA, has been summoned to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Ruling party MLAs have been raided by the Income-Tax Department in Punjab and Uttarakhand. Both the states are ruled by the Aam Aadmi party (AAP). In every Opposition state politicians have been arrested for merely for taking Modi’s name in vain on Facebook postings.
Industrialist Gautam Adani has destroyed the Indian economy. The reputation of India as a country where you can do business honestly has been undermined. Modi’s boast of India being the new industrial hub has become a joke. Over a period of 15 days the Adani shares lost 80% of their market value. The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) which has been bullied to invest large amounts in Adani shares has lost Rs30,000 crore. No action has been taken against Gautam Adani or his brother or any of their parivar companies accused of manipulating the stock market to create unimaginable wealth.
In sharp contrast, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia has been in jail for over a month now. Initially, Sisodia was picked up by the Income-Tax Department and arrested. He was kept in the custody of the Income-Tax Department for almost 15 days. And thereafter sent to judicial custody at the Tihar jail. But even in Tihar jail the saffron brigade did not leave Sisodia in peace. The ED went to the Tihar jail in Delhi and after questioning Sisodia for 14 hours after arresting him. Right now Sisodia is in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate.

MAIN WEAPONS
THE main weapons of the Modi government are the Enforcement Directorate and the Income-Tax departments. Both these are reportedly independent investigative agencies which do not come under the jurisdiction of the police. To the extent that the Income-Tax Department and ED have their special courts. It is not clear whether the ordinary judiciary system has any control over the special CBI and ED courts.
The normal law and order machinery comprising the police comes under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. If you are arrested for any reason by the police you can always appeal to the Sessions Court. If your appeal is not heard you can appeal to the High Court and finally the SC. In the case of Sisodia the SC rejected his appeal for bail on the grounds that he should have first gone to the lower courts. The logic being that the SC is the highest court in the country and should be approached only as the last resort.

TERRORIST STATE
THERE is no doubt that under Narendra Modi, India is become a terrorist state. Modi, like Valdimir Putin of Russia, is a complete dictator. He cannot tolerate any opposition. Even the SC has commented on the fact that Modi is using the BJP-appointed governors to topple Opposition-ruled states — as it happened in Maharashtra.
It may be recalled that the governor extended support to Eknath Shinde who formed the government as the head of the breakaway Shiv Sena group. Shinde replaced Uddhav Thackeray, the son of Bal Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena. The BJP has taken over the North-East by extending large benefits to the tribal community. The leaders of local parties were harassed and some of them were even arrested.
The BJP has taken over the highest position in the land by appointing its rubber stamp Droupati Murmu as the president on India. The BJP can use Droupati to dismiss elected opposition governments as in Maharashtra. It must be observed that it was the BJP which split the Shiv Sena. As a reward the BJP got the deputy chief minister’s post with Devendra Fadnivas returning to power.
In a strange twist Aniksha Jaisinghani has been accused of attempting to blackmail the wife of Devendra Fadnivas’ Amruta Fadnivas. The charge is that Amruta was offered money to intervene in a criminal case. The blackmailer was kept in the lock up even though no case filed against her. The rumor is that the two women had a dispute about sharing the income from the bookie and Amruta is taking revenge. This is typical of the strategy of the BJP.
RAHUL Gandhi is right. Modi has converted the country into a dictatorship. The only institution which has maintained its independence is the Supreme Court. Recently, the SC liberated the EC from the hold of the BJP. The Union Law Minister of India Kiren Jijiju, has even accused former SC judges of being anti-national and working to topple the BJP government.
