The famous Hollywood singer Rihanna who has hundred million followers on twitter extended support to the protesting farmers in India. Compare to Rihanna Modi has only fiver million follower while Kangana Ranut has less than a million followers. Bollywood stars took the side of the government with rare exceptions. The Modi government itself seems to be rattled by the International protest against in favor of the farmers. Besides Rihanna many Members of Parliament of Indian origin in the UK parliament and Senators and representatives of the US have also supported the farmers agitation. A large number of sikhs settled in Canada also supported the farmers agitation. Meanwhile the Modi government has sealed Delhi with several layers of security making it look like the Pakistani border.

CARNIVAL DESPITE COVID-19

Goa will go ahead with the carnival on February 13 and 14 despite Covid-19. The Chairman of the carnival committee will be the mayor Udhay Madkaikar. The President of the Carnival committee Fransico Martins the veteran who revive the Carnival in Goa. The carnival will be held in Panjim and Margao.
