THE BJP IS AN INTRUDER!

UNITY: All Opposition parties have come together presumably to take out Narendra Modi in the 2024 parliamentary election. In Goa the situation changed since eight BJP MLAs disqualified or resigned or joined or left Congress again.

Narendra Modi is losing his super Rama-deva image. His popularity is declining. He seems to claim more popularity abroad in countries like United States and France. His disinterest in important local issues is dramatized by the fact that he was not present at the launching of the ISRO’S space mission Chandrayaan-3 to the moon, unlike previous launches.

THE people of Goa will not vote for the BJP again. Even in the last elections, it was Congress which got the largest number of seats. It is expected that the Congress will form the government in an alliance with Vijai Sardesai’s Goa Forward. The MGP MLA was also supposed to join the Congress alliance. It was the in-fighting within the Congress that enabled the BJP to steal the government. As it has been doing in various parts of the country. Vijai Sardesai was insistent that Digambar Kamat should be the head of the Congress alliance. Congress Digvijay Singh was opposed to this. By the time the Congress High Command could resolve the problem Nitin Gadkari had bribed Vijai Sardesai to join the BJP. The MGP MLA was also persuaded to join the BJP.
The BJP government could have been ousted following the death of late chief minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar. Goa Forward was considering withdrawing support. BJP with its experience of finding opportunists and greedy MLAs approached Babush Monserrate. Babush with his talent for bribing and threatening MLAs manage to get eight of the 11 Congress MLAs to join the BJP, giving it a majority again.
Some senior Congress leaders were tired of the fight between the dynasty and other senior Congressmen that they also decided, there was no future in the Congress. Which is why Digambar Kamat and Ravi Naik also joined the BJP.

FOR MONEY OR MINISTERSHIP
THOSE who have joined the BJP for money or for a ministerial post have no permanent loyalty to the BJP. This has been dramatized in Maharashtra where the Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena joined hands with the NCP. The BJP which was part of the government was forced out. In Karnataka the BJP suffered a major defeat from the Congress party. The latest sign that the BJP can be broken is the fact that 90% of the Panchayats in West Bengal were won by the Trinamool Congress. The BJP got less than 2% of the Panchayats and Zilla Parishads in the state.
Though the BJP managed to form the government in Manipur, so much violence has erupted in the state that the BJP chief minister of Manipur, Nongthombam Biren Singh, is likely to be forced to resign. The conspiracy of polarizing the community for electoral gains has not worked in Manipur.
The credibility of Modi has dropped sharply. Since the Bengaluru election the prime minister has been in silent mode. Modi is perhaps seeking approval more abroad than in India. Modi claims that his visit to the United States was a great success. This was followed by visit to France on the occasion was the French Independence Day called Bastille Day on June 14, when in the history of France the monarchy was overthrown, privileged royalty put to the guillotine and the People’s Republic took over and formed the government in 1799.
A notorious claim of the revolution in France was that it was the Queen Marie Antoinette, who when she heard about the unrest in the country with people starving, provoking by commenting something like, “If they have no bread, let them eat cake.” We do not know about the authenticity of this quote which is controversial but it has become the popular perception that it was a cruel and indifferent monarchy which finally brought the revolution to its dramatic end with royal and noble blood rolling at the guillotine.
IN his most recent travels Narendra Modi has also been visiting other countries including Egypt where there were all the photo ops sitting next to the Pyramids were put out on Facebook. Modi and his admirers claim that the Indian community abroad is full of admirers of the prime minister whom they call “boss.”
The major block in Modi’s 2024 Parliamentary election campaign is Rahul Gandhi. Not necessarily the Congress Party. This is because Rahul Gandhi is a guerilla fighter. Modi and Amit Shah never know when and where Rahul Gandhi will strike. It was Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka which was responsible for the victory of the Congress in the state.
There is a lot of sympathy for Rahul Gandhi on the matter of his off the cuff remarks about corrupt Modis in the country and he was convicted by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in Surat, the court has refused him a stay on the conviction and subsequently the matter is now pending before the Supreme Court.
IN the meantime, all the Opposition parties have come together to fight the BJP government in unity in the 2024 Parliamentary election. The south comprising Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu are all against BJP rule. Aap Aadmi’s Arvind Kejriwal has taken over Punjab in addition to capital city Delhi. The Congress is controlling Rajasthan. Bihar with Nikhil Kumar could pose a challenge to Modi.
There is really no certainty that the BJP will come back to power in the 2024 election. The only worry and fear is that is that the entire election may be sabotaged by money power and muscle power in the “mother of democracy.”
