PAPA WILL FIX IT!

JAGDISH Sardesai, bashed up as many as three cars near the Dona Paula circle, when he lost control of his Rs1 crore plus BMW car on May 21, 2026 at 2am. A drunk Jagdish started shouting at the people who has gathered at the scene of the accident. He could be heard screaming gaali like “bastard” at the crowd which gathered. The police constable at the Police Outpost here at Dona Paula Circle was totally intimidated by the screaming Jagdish Sardesai.

Sardesai is reportedly a resident of the Vaiganium Valley. This is the second time this year that he has been guilty of rash and negligent driving under the influence of liquor.  Apparently, in January, he was convicted by the District Court but got away with a fine of just Rs10,000. When the police team from Panaji arrived and got tough with he screamed for his “Papa, Papa” on his smartphone. The police arrested him as there was CCTV camera evidence of the rash driving accident. The breathalyzer test done showed that he was very drunk. Papa, no doubt, will fix it. There is a mystery over the girl who was with him in the car.

FINALLY, BEER CHEAPER THAN PETROL

WITH the latest increase in petrol prices to over Rs100 plus, beer is now cheaper in Goa than petrol. Petrol is selling at Rs100.45 in Goa petrol pumps. The cost of beer at a retail outlet for the common brands is just Rs90. Hard liquor, like the cheaper versions of whiskey and vodka are much cheaper in Goa then in the neighboring states. But it is not just tourists who drink and drive. In recent times, a number of Goans have been involved in accidents in Panaji due to drunken driving. The cars involved have been expensive once like Mercedes, BMW, and in a recent accident involved a 22-year-old at the Cidade de Goa, who was driving a Mini Cooper. The 20-year-old Darius Dias, who caused the death of a Cidade-de-Goa receptionist, was never arrested for the offense.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR TOE

A TOE Injury can literally put you under house arrest if not bed arrest. So don’t take any injury to the toe lightly. Always do an X-ray to rule out fracture. Injuries to the big toe are very common. You may injure your toe if you drop something heavy on it, accidentally. The toe could also get hurt due to a fall, particularly among senior citizens. Two wheeler accidents are a common cause of big toe injuries.  Sports persons, particularly those playing football, cricket, or even jogging, can hurt their toes. Avoid tight shoes, slippers without support, and high heels. There is no better cure than complete rest for a toe injury. It’s only in very rare cases that you need surgery and most doctors will say it’s a hairline fracture, just rest at home for a few days, do cold compress and take a painkiller.

NOW GYM JIHAD

NOW the saffron brigade has started raising the bogey of Gym jihad. They are claiming that Hindu girls going for a workout in gyms are bullied and harassed by their Muslim trainers. It is perhaps a coincidence but a number of Gym trainers happen to be Muslims. The Gym jihad alarms come in the wake of allegations that an employee of the Tata computers in Nasik harassed Hindu employees and forced them to recite the Kalma. Independent enquiries have however dismissed the charges.

NATIONAL COCKROACH PARTY

CHIEF Justice of India Surya Kant making  comments on a petition by a lawyer seeking the status of senior lawyer, commented that all RTI activist and unemployed youth had become digital media. He also compared them to cockroaches. This has led to an incredible   sharp reaction not only from media but from the youth of the country. Before you could say anything the Cockroach Janata Party was launched by Abhijit Dipake. The CJP has now become the party registering the frustration of young Indians. With its socialistic, democratic and lazy ideology, the CJP has attracted over six million young people online as members. Needless to say the Narendra Modi government has blocked the social media account of the Cockroach Janata Party.
