The National Cockroach Party led by Gen Z answered Amit Shah’s Ak47 bullets and pellete guns with the power of the ballot. Prashant Kishor inflicted a humiliating defeat on the constituency nursed by BJP president Nitin Nabin, namely Bankipur in Bihar.

GEN-Z has retorted that with the ballot box to the bullet guns and AK-47 bullets fired on them by the Modi sarkar. In Bankipur assembly constituency in Bihar which has been a BJP stronghold for three decades, Prashant Kishor defeated the BJP candidate. The candidate himself was a young youth fanatical activist of the BJP. The significance of Prashant Kishor’s victory stems from the fact that Bankipur was the constituency of the present BJP president Nabin.
The BJP president had vacated Bankipur after he was elected to the Rajya Sabha and was anointed BJP president. Nabin was so confident of defending his stronghold that he could get any cat or dog elected from Bankipur. Prashant Kishor, whose party had not won a single seat in the assembly elections in Bihar last year, defeated the BJP candidate over 20,000 votes. Simultaneously, the BJP also lost the Datia seat in Madhya Pradesh to the Congress.
It is obvious that generation Z voted out the BJP president’s nominee and gave an overwhelming victory to Prashant Kishor.

NCP INSPIRATION
WHAT perhaps also helped Prashant Kishor breach the 30-year-old stronghold of the BJP, was the anger in the state against corruption in the conduct of the public service exams in Bihar. The students in Bihar, inspired by the National Cockroach Party’s successful protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, demanded accountability over allegations of irregularities in recruitment exams conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The Bihar students have demanded cancellation and re-examination where paper leaks or malpractices are suspected. They have demanded fair recruitment without abrupt changes. They have demanded time bound filling up of government vacancies. They have demanded accountability from both the officials and the political system.
The movement in Bihar has been led by students Civil Service aspirants and youth organizations. It may be recalled that the Bihar police used AK-47 guns to fire on young protesters in Bihar during the national protests for accountability after the leakage of questions papers.

ENTER GENERATION ALPHA
THE youth protests have spread to generation alpha, an expression which covers children born between 2010 and 2024. Children of the high schools in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan and Maharashtra, are protesting for basic infrastructure in schools and high schools like drinking water, clean toilets and most importantly of all adequate teachers.
 The protests originated at the Sarvodaya Inter College in the Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The students claimed that there was only one single teacher for all the 150 students studying in the higher secondary school. They called attention to dirty and unusable toilets and they also flagged threats by the school authorities against the students who complained. When the protests became viral the District Inspector of Schools was forced to intervene and accept all the demands of the students. There have been similar protests in Prayagraj in UP. The protests have spread to Bihar, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
The country’s home minister, Amit Shah, has been forced to back down on the coercion of students who participated in the NEET protests all over the country. Initially, Chief Justice Suryakant had consented to the demand that cases against protesting students should be withdrawn. However, there was a caveat which stipulated that FIRs filed against students with a criminal record would not be withdrawn. The CJ has now directed the Center and State governments to withdraw all FIRs against the student protestors.
The Supreme Court has told the governments categorically that students should be allowed to pursue their studies without the fear of being summoned to police stations and the sword of imprisonment hanging over their heads. The SC has further clarified that criminal antecedents in first information reports will only cover students with serious allegations like murder and not frivolous cases filed against students demanding accountability.
Accountability has now become the mantra of the nation. Accountability has transcended generation Z and generation alpha. It has now entered the arena of the ballot box. Not just the youth but parents are also now giving notice that they will not tolerate brutality inflicted on their children who are young students.

HARASSING YOUNG WOMEN
MEANWHILE, it is being revealed that despite Modi ‘s claim of having forgiven the 14 year-year-old intern working in the Unisex saloon in Gaziabad , she and her mother have had to change homes three times, due to threats of rape from the Hindutva brigade.
 In Goa it may be recalled that First Information Reports were filed against over a 1,000 students who took part in the rally from Miramar beach to the Azade maidan, following the brutal attack on the student protestors on July 20 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi when they were marching to parliament. The FIRs will now have to be withdrawn following the directions of the Supreme Court. The vague FIRs which do not name anyone could have been used as an instrument and weapon to harass activists who organize any protest meetings. The general secretary of Usvaad was interrogated twice over at length by the Mapusa and Panjim police, although there was no specific FIR lodged against her.
