VENDETTA!
Aug 01- Aug 07, 2026, Cover Story July 31, 2026The Narendra Modi government has started a vendetta against the students who participated in the protest demanding accountability. The Home Ministry is hunting down student activists based on AI generated facial recognition pictures. In Goa the police have terrorized the parents of Uzwaad student members who organized the protests in Goa..
THE Vishwaguru, Narendra Modi, is very angry because he has been exposed not only in the country but globally. The international media including the New York Times, the Manchester Gurdian and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on whom every Indian swears by, reported extensively on the youth revolt. Even more significantly the foreign media dramatized the brutal use of metal pellet guns and AK-47 against the peaceful protestors. The Modi regime stands totally exposed.
The memes and satire on social media have become viral. The whole world is laughing. Student “cockroaches” forcing the resignation of not just the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan but a very important member of the Hindutva brigade in India. Pradhan is more than an education minister, he was the main election strategist or fixer of the BJP in West Bengal, Orissa and Bihar.
Vishwaguru Modi and his General Himmler have not forgotten and will never forget the humiliation. The humiliation of having to abdicate to a few young 30 year olds. Being forced for the first time in the 14 years they have been power to sack a senior member of the cabinet. The BJP managed to break the spirit of Sonum Wanchu. The BJP thought the youth fury would be extinguished by the optics of Sonum breaking his fast with a glass of orange juice offered by former BJP President and Health Minister JP Nadda. It did not happen.
And the National Cockroach Party (NCP) decided to intensify the protest . The regime tried to blind them with tear gas. They tried to break their heads and their backs with spiked lathis. They shot the protestors with metal pellet guns. The cops in Bihar which is now being ruled by the BJP even fired with sten guns at the protestors as if they were terrorists. The youth stood firm.

SPORTING STUDENTS OF BIHAR
INDEED, in Bihar, the cops got angry at the ridicule showered on them by the protestors. The barricades were converted by the students into vehicles to take a ride away. When the police used water cannons the students took of their clothes and enjoyed a bath. When the police tried to rope them off some of the protestors started playing tug-of-war game. Women protestors had banners offering diapers to the education minister to ensure that in future exam papers won’t leak.
The empire struck back and continues to strike back with vengeance. The Delhi police claims that using the latest face recognition technology they have identified criminal elements mixing with the protestors at Jantar Mantar. Senior advocate Kapil Sybil has warned that there is no independent way of challenging the home minister’s claim that criminals had assaulted the police and not the other way around of cops assaulting peaceful protestors.
In the digital age everything is khullam khullah. There is visual evidence of metal pellet guns being used and protestors being seriously injured. The treating hospitals have confirmed that several protestors were found with several pellet injuries. Videos have gone viral of a senior police officer slapping a young woman who was not even raising slogans or flashing a banner. There are videos of sexual molestation of young women at Jantar Mantar. The Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have admitted that metal pellet guns were used. That a young woman was slapped. That the special security force cops fired using AK-47s at protestors in Bihar. The police excuse is that the protestors were rioting. That they were attacking police officers. The protestors claim that hardcore RSS elements infiltered and started vandalizing property and targeting police men. The protestors have even put up videos of police men throwing stones and smashing vehicles.
At the meeting between representatives of the NCP and the JP Nadda, solemn assurances were given that all first information cases filed against the student activists all over the country would be withdrawn. However, there has been vishwaghat. FIR reports have been filed against protestors in Delhi and in all BJP ruled states, including Goa. Charges of attempted murder and anti-national activity have been framed against the student protestors.
Among the lies of the godi media headed by Arnab Mukherjee it is that the NCP “cockroaches” had the support of the Pakistani terrorists. The proverbial foreign hand. That Pakistan Instagram handles extended support to the protestors. And so did Greta Thumberg, the now internationally famous climate activist. The godi media of course did not make any reference to the support of Greta to the protesters, or the support extended by sports icons like Sachin Tendulkar. Or the fact that film actor Shabana Azmi went to Jantar Mantar to express solidarity with the student protesters along with the Ladakh’s scientist Sonam Wanchuk.
THE GOA PROTEST
LIKE all other BJP ruled states Goa has also been flexing its muscles against protestors. A small group of protestors peacefully assembled at the Azad Maidan and were reportedly attacked by the ABVP members. Sudeep Dalvi was accused of molesting and abusing the ABVP women who were trying to disrupt the protest. Dalvi was taken into custod. The secretary of UZZWAD, a youth NGO headed by Amreen Sheikh, was summoned to the Mapusa police station and interrogated for four hours. Sandra Pereira, the president of the NGO, who is an assistant professor in the Dhempe College, is being harassed by the police. Incredibly, the cops have registered FIRs against over a thousand people who joined the protest rally against police brutality.
Narendra Sawaikar, a former member of parliament and vice president of the BJP, has not yet apologized for his remarks calling Goan protestors as “termites.” To add insult to injury the BJP has put up a Facebook post in the name of the BJP President Damu Naik and General Secretary Shripad Kunkuliencar, claiming that the protestors in Goa had raised anti-national slogans. Their crime was demanding the relese of Omar Khaled who has been in jail for over three years on frivolous charges. The Supreme Court has recently ruled that the denial of bail to the JNU research student was illegal. Even the Chief Justice of India, who unwittingly triggered the NCP movement seems to have now recognized that he has been consistently wrong. The chief justice after dismissing the demand for an enquiry on police brutality during the students’ Sansad march has upheld the right to peaceful protests. Chief Justice Suryakant has belatedly acknowledged that such force should not have been used against peaceful protestors.
The godi media and the BJP apologists have stepped up the campaign on social media. There are Delhi University students claiming that students should not be dragged into politics. The NEET topper Bansal has been featured in godi media claiming that protests were a distraction. The celebration at a 5-star hotel by the NCP leaders has been “exposed” by the godi media. There have been even claims that NCP’s Abhijit Dipke, who is down with typhoid has gone back to the USA.
An ultimatum has been served on the Modi government by Saurabh Das, one of the spokespersons for the NCP. The NCP will revive the protest with even greater intensity if a single protestor anywhere in the country is victimized or harassed . They will revive the protest if action is not taken against the cops who brutalized the young protestors.
ACCOUNTABILITY PLEASE
REGRETTABLY, the Goan youth have not responded in adequate numbers to demand accountability in education. Of the over 1lakh students in Goa just a few hundred or a thousand odd joined the protest. A young friend, who is a student of the Dhempe college, claims that she did not want to risk her career and her marks by protesting.
Apparently, Goa University had warned several college students that the academic future of the students will be compromised if they took part in any protests. Good Catholics of course think that going to church is more important than saving the temple of democracy. The Bishops Conference has demanded accountability and protested against police brutality. The Catholic Association has condemned the police brutality. Cardinal Felipe Neri has been silent. So also the majority of the parish priests in Goa. The Swami of Patanjali Math has not sympathized with the students. Swami Brameshwar, the Bhandari community swami has been silent.
Where has the spirit of what brought lakhs of Goans to the streets during the Opinion Poll disappeared? Where are all the Konkani mogi and why are they silent on the revolt of students. Wake up Goa. Stand up Goa. Speak up Goa. Speak up Goa. Make the Goa government accountable just as the students movement in Delhi has made the national government in Delhi accountable. Make the protest a double engine protest . The protest in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar must echo in Goa and in every part of the country. Even the Indian diaspora has supported the protest. Not with words alone but with deliveries of food, medicines and other essentials to the protestors at Jantar Mantar.
POSTSCRIPT: A Muslim braveheart who supplied food to the Jantar Mantar protestors is being harassed by the police. The young woman model from Mumbai who stopped the police van carrying away protestors has been summoned to the Andheri police station repeatedly.
